About your activity

We will meet at Tarcoles River doc where we will start the tour. As we proceed down the river on our boat, where you will observe 3 wildlife Zones River, Mangroves and Beach converging.
​
As you progress on this tour your guide will point the Crocodiles who rest at the side of the small beaches of the river, and you will also see then swimming across the water.
​
The tour guide and the boat captain will do their best effort to spot Osama or Tornado which are the oldest crocodiles found in the river who are over than 80 years old.
​
Expect to see birds like Scarlet Macaws, Toucans, Herons, birds of prey, Kingfishers just to mention some.

Directions
The entrance to Tarcoles is off of Route 34. If coming from the south, it is about 22 kilometers north of Jaco. If coming from the north, it is about 3 kilometers from the Tarcoles Bridge.
