Guachipelin Hacienda offers a fantastic day out for adventurous nature lovers, at the foot of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, near the town of Curubande, in Guanacaste.

 

The Hacienda borders the popular Rincón de la Vieja National Park.Hacienda Guachipelin has always worked raising cattle and horses, and since 1985, it has also been involved in developing eco-tourism in the area, hosting a steady flow of visitors, helping them enjoy the natural beauty of the ranch and the neighboring national park, where you will experience the volcanic activity of the unique Rincón de la Vieja volcano.

Natural hot springs, virgin forests, jungle waterfalls and volcanic mud pots are just some of the many attractions visitors can enjoy at the Hacienda. 

 

Here we will have enormous fun zip-lining through the canopy, rappelling down the canyon walls, riding horses through the Hacienda and floating along the Negro River in your own inner tube.  Finish off your activity-filled day with cleansing mud baths straight from the volcano.
