Tour Description:

 

Visit Selvatura Park, a magnificent conservation project located in the famous Monteverde area, and enjoy extreme adventures andamazing rides or learn about the inhabitants of  the rich cloud forest ecosystem at their education center.

 

At Selvatura you can choose between two different zip-line courses over the forest canopy, each over 3 kms (1.9 miles) long and even boasting a Tarzan Swing!  You can also enjoy a more calm experience along the Treetop Walkways, an almost 2-mile trail including 8 long suspension bridges which allow you to take your time and observe each of the forest levels.

 

You will also have the opportunity to spot hundreds of butterflies in one of the world's largest live exhibitions, the Butterfly Garden, see dozens of unforgettable hummingbirds flying around you in theirHummingbird Garden and view reptiles and amphibians like never before in the Herpetarium.

 

In the education center you can also visit the world's largest private insect collection and view the Bio-art exhibition as well as exclusive footage from within the forest in their cinema auditorium.
